web pages

trmswebpageWeb pages are today’s business cards. Consumers head to web pages when they are looking for specific information and rarely either look too hard or stay that long, so it’s important to make sure the info consumers want is easily available to them.

I have helped implement and design the following pages for both Meg’s Events and private clients, and continue to create and maintain content for these pages and more:

Meg’s Events – Designed to highlight Meg’s Events both public and private, and to also act as a reference site for vendors that I have worked with and on which events. Site is still in progress. Next on the list is to add more recent events and clients and include a new contact form that has survey questions for potential clients interested in my wedding planning services.

SIPtemberfest – Originally this was a blog driven site, with regular posts presented in a very casual and humorous fashion. The growth of this event from a sell-out-at-the-gate to a sell-out-in-minutes-online event prompted a change in direction for the page. It still utilizes the posting option and is highly effective at communicating important information to its 1100+ subscribers who receive updates directly to their email inboxes. But it has also adopted the Hop Jam style with a homepage that feature the most pertinent information for the majority of visitors, but is layered with all the content needed for anyone who looks.

The Waterbury Arts Fest– Key issues involved providing clarity between the Friday & Saturday activities, as well as hosting easy to find information about parking and more. Additional administrators for account

The Moretown Artisans’ Sale

Lawson’s Finest Liquids – Designed with the intention of communicating with fans about beer availability as well as integrating a retail element. Additional administrators for account

The Alchemist – Elements of focus were “merch shop” and ‘where to buy’ pages. Also critical was communicating that their Waterbury brewery had closed to the public. Additional administrators for account
