It all started in April, 2008 with an idea for small beer fest, a local art show that needed a new organizer and a bunch of friends who needed help planning their weddings. Suddenly I was planning events like, ya know, it was my job!
Since then, Meg’s Events has blossomed into one of the state’s leading event planners. I’ve been involved with dozens of weddings and events, small and large, private and public, across the state of Vermont and beyond.
Each event provides so many learning experiences that over the years I’ve honed my skills and refined my techniques; if I’m not learning while I’m doing my job, then I’m not doing my job!
As a result of this, my events have only improved over time, becoming more smoothly planned and executed. This has allowed me to focus on the finer details and grow events in a manner that doesn’t detract from them. My goal with each event I work is to use the wealth of knowledge I’ve accrued to create the best event possible. And then make it even better.
Best of all, through my event planning, I’ve been able to combine three of my favorite things into what has become not only my motto, but my job: imagination, creation and celebration.
